Beetroot from T H Brown and Son
This is now firmly labelled as a superfood and comes in a multitude of shapes and sizes. The unusual and delightful Cheltenham Long beetroot
is grown for us by a neighbouring farmer along with the more common red beetroot. Golden and candy are less sweet than the red but add colour and vibrancy to any dish with staining everything pink like the red do. Beetroot leaves are becoming increasingly popular in salads or when lightly steamed and paired with fish.
